Both respectful communication with the other side as well as responsive communication with you regarding your case. One of the biggest complaints about lawyers is that they are unreachable or don’t return calls. I will always be accessible to my clients and we will communicate about the status of your case throughout the process.
It will always be of the utmost importance to me that I maintain your trust as we move forward in the process of resolving your case. I approach each case with a collaborative expectation, where I will give you all the advice, information and guidance my experience can offer, and then then the decisions will be yours so that you always feel in charge of your case.
Competence is defined as the ability to do something successfully or efficiently. I strive with each case to handle the process and offer my client choices that will help resolve the case in the most efficient manner possible. This often saves the client significant time and expense and leads to more long term satisfaction regarding the case resolution.
At one point or another in your case it is likely to become emotionally overwhelming. This is the point where you are able to rely on my representation to carry you through. I often get to tell clients it’s ok to take a break from it all while I continue to fight or advocate for you. It is important to have a lawyer you can rely on to do that for you.
As a solo practitioner, I will handle all cases personally, providing individualized counsel
to help clients through what can be a difficult period of their lives
Did you know that using mediation to resolve family disputes leads to better family member interaction post divorce. The level of conflict is much less than an adversarial court battle and the nature of compromise used leaves the parties feeling more satisfied with the outcome. Less arguing and stress is also better for the children.
In this episode of “Let’s Talk Divorce!” Rhia Bornmann Spears, owner of Bornmann Family Law, PLLC in Minneapolis, Minnesota, talks about how being a Family Law Attorney drives her passion for helping unwed Father’s with the ways in which Minneapolis, Minnesota law does unwed Father’s a great disservice.
Rhia also reveals some of the most common misconceptions that unwed Father’s need to keep in mind when looking at their options for divorce.
Rhia, in a behind the scenes conversation with Radio Talk Show Host, Stewart Andrew Alexander, “I passionately believe in working with clients to serve the best interests of the children involved. Oftentimes, the best gift I can give to the parties includes the tools to improve their long term relationships for the benefit of the children involved. Studies show parents fighting is what causes the children the long term stress, not the divorce itself.”
